Camp Sunshine also provides bereavement sessions for families who have lost a child to supported illnesses. Free of charge to all families.

Designed as an extension of Anna Jaques Hospital, the Newburyport Cancer Center is a day patient facility focusing on medical oncology. The Newburyport Cancer Center gives oncology patients convenient access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic services, as well as expert clinical care at every stage of treatment. Patients no longer have to go to Boston to get their cancer treatments close to home.

Anna Jaques Hospital welcomes individuals and families affected by cancer to join this free monthly support group. The group is open to anyone coping with a cancer diagnosis so that they can spend time with others facing similar situations. The group provides ongoing support, encouragement and friendship. The event is held on the third Monday of every month. Each month the support group features a different guest speaker to share helpful and educational information. The support group takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Coffee and beverages will be served.
