  Kathleen Elliman
1954-2023

Picture
Forever remembered through so many generous donations received from friends and family.  The family is notified of all tributes made in Kathy's honor.
Kathleen Frances (Fitzgerald) Elliman, 69, of Methuen, passed away at her home on July 3, 2023.

Born in Quincy on June 26, 1954, beloved, middle daughter of the late Francis R. and Ethel A. (Baxter) Fitzgerald.

Kathy met the love of her life, Walter C. Elliman, through the Boston Crusader Drum Corps in 1971. They married on June 7, 1975 and together made Tewksbury their home where they would raise their children and make countless lifelong friendships.

Besides her adoring husband, Walter, Kathy is survived by her children; Sharon F. and her husband Eric M. Langan of Andover and Dan J. and his wife Ashley L. Elliman of Andover, her ‘prized possessions’, grandchildren; Luke, Zach, Bonnie, Blake and Rose, sister’s; Elizabeth ‘Bonnie’ Fitzgerald, Patricia ‘Patty’ and her husband Charles Poole, Theresa ‘Terry’ and her husband Michael Colameta and Margaret ‘Peggy’ and her husband Robert Steinhilber, brother-in-law’s; George and his wife Nancy Elliman and Robert Elliman. Kathy was also a loving aunt to Rob, Michael, Andrea, Charley, Dean and Cassidy.

Family shaped every facet of her life. At age 11, Kathy and her sisters lost their mother tragically, and from there an unbreakable bond and devotion to family was inspired. The life of every party, the loudest fan at every sports game, the unwaveringly reliable friend, Kathy was a truly magnetic person. She got involved in every aspect of school, sports and activities for her children and grandchildren and was their biggest cheerleader. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she dedicated a tremendous amount of her time to caring for her family. Memories created through the years, such as those from family trips to Disney, Bermuda cruises with friends and winter weekends at ‘Nestlenook’, will help to carry her family and friends forward. The Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend that you wish for, Kathy’s loss is immeasurable but her legacy of relationships and love is profound. Those that knew and loved her are comforted to know she is watching over them from Heaven.
